SOLV Project Leader Training

SOLV is pleased to announce a new training opportunity in Hillsboro on Wednesday, January 26th. Learn how volunteers can help improve the environment and your community. This workshop is designed to help community members organize a SOLV project. Topics covered include:

· Watershed basics
· Envisioning and defining your project
· Managing and recruiting volunteers
· Educate volunteers on the impact of their work
· Add new energy to volunteer projects
· Finding sponsors, fundraising, and working with the media
· Project logistics for the day of your event

SOLV Volunteer Action Training Workshop

This workshop is FREE to participants who plan to coordinate a SOLV project in their community within one year (fee-based training is also available with no project requirement). The workshop provides training, resources, and ongoing project support.

Feel free to invite any coworkers, friends, and/or volunteers you work with on a regular basis. If you’ve already completed training with SOLV or are currently coordinating volunteer projects, please feel free to join us for a refresher course or pass on this announcement to help recruit the next generation of leaders!
